My Journey Into Creation And Joining Up God’s

Kingdom

BROOKS GALLERY

It all Started in Buffalo, New York

My story begins all with loving the arts and having a love for the Lord and his creations and turning that into my purpose. As a young child, my mother often took me to art galleries in Buffalo, NY. It began my interest in creating, and by age 10 I took an aptitude test and was told I was gifted in the arts. I then began school with a heavy focus on the arts, and excelled throughout middle, high school and college.

From Graduating With A Masters in Arts,To Getting the Raleigh Medal Of Arts

My journey with creating has always been blessed by the Lord. From graduating with a Masters in the Arts at Wayne State University, to receiving the Raleigh Medal of the Arts, I am so grateful for His guidance and provision. I then was guided to build a community in the arts, and led other’s to the beauty of Christ and creation through my artwork. I even had my first studio for Brooks Gallery, and bought the domain name in 1996!

HOW ART BECAME MY MINISTRY

Teaching Art At Public Schools & Creating Impact

I was certified to teach and taught for 20 years then opened the gallery for 10 yrs. When I came back to teaching my certificate had expired and through answered prayer I got a job teaching and they paid for my classes to recertify. My undergraduate degree was in teaching art and art studio. I also started a monthly prayer time before school in the public schools.

WHY NFTs?

How I Transitioned From Strictly Traditional

Into My NFT Ministry

My son told me in order to stay relevant as an artist that I needed to make my artwork into NFTs. He set up my securities and wallet. In my research of NFTs, I found that Christie's Art House and even the Louvre Gallery were creating them. I felt led to use my NFTs for the Kingdom of God. I saw the opportunity to create community and impact through NFTs as a ministry, and to reach those whose hearts are untouched by the Lord.

30% of all sales go to missions, and 10% go to the church.

How I Reach The Hearts Of Others Through NFTs

I host the Christian NFT Lounge in Twitter spaces where people come to talk about the love of Christ, and how we were created to create. It has become a space of healing, and a space of comfort for others to share their stories and testimonies. Through NFTs and speaking about my art I have the opportunity to go into all the world and share the love of God.
