Blowing Rock is a quaint village nestled within the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Seventeen ski resorts are located just outside Blowing Rock where my son and I went on a weekend ski trip with friends. In this quiet mountain town one can find hiking trails in the green forests and cool mountain streams running into small lakes. Bear, deer, and other wildlife roam in a natural habitat.
