The Arno river valley is noted for its scenic beauty as you can see here in this painting. The reflections in the water gives you a peacefulness making you a feel tranquil and calm.

Florence lies on both banks of the Arno River, a historic landmark located in central Italy, at the foot of the Apennines mountain range. The old bridges span the Arno River where shops await visitors along both sides. During the Renaissance from 1300 to 1600, some of the greatest painters, sculptures, and writers in history lived and worked here. The Arno River rises in the Etruscan section of the Apennine Mountains in northwestern Italy. The fertile Arno valley has vineyards and olive groves, and is noted for its scenic beauty as you can see here in this painting.
