One of my favorite things to do when I visited my mother in Florida is to watch the birds. They have some of the greatest birds in Florida and I have always said I wanted to take them home with me. The birds are not afraid of anyone and they hang around a long time. This is an important fact when you are trying to draw them or take their photograph. The egret is my favorite Florida bird.

Matthew 6:26-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
