Georgia O'Keeffe is one of my favorite artists. She painted large floral pieces that filled the entire canvas. This is North Carolina’s state flower and one of them is living in my neighbors front yard. With its dark green foliage surrounded by flower clusters, the White Dogwood's display of delicate flowers each year is a most welcome sight. Capturing just a part of this beauty was a blessing to paint.
