This painting was from a trip I took driving down the coast of California. I flew into San Francisco, drove down the Pacific Coastal Highway to San Diego. I painted “Golden Gate” from pictures I took on my very first day in San Francisco near Fisherman’s Warf. I loved all the boats and all the excitement of the busy harbor.
