49” X 55” Oil on Canvas
This oil painting depicts a typical North Carolina scene with the rolling hills, farms, and weathered old barns. In the barns, the tobacco harvest hangs from the ceiling to dry and cannot be seen. I grew up in Michigan where I was familiar with bailing hay and storing it in the barn. The smell of the fresh cut hay and swinging from a rope in the hayloft are precious fond memories of my grandparent's farm, and these memories explain why I am very partial to barns and the rural lifestyle. This painting is one of the largest I have created and it needs a special place to call home.
Deuteronomy 28:8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

I believe that as an Artist, it is important to stay connected and relevant to modern times. As time passes we have to adjust our approach to reach new audiences. I view NFTs as a ministry because of the community it creates, and the scope of it’s impact. The Lord had specifically put it on my heart to reach those who sit on the outskirts through my NFTs and create a global impact through Christ
