Refining copper is done by heating the metal to eliminate the impurities. As you watch the liquid metal, swirling and glowing the copper separates from the impurities. Purity of the heart is strengthened and encouraged by the truth found in God’s Word. The purifying process begins with knowing Jesus, and it continues daily as we grow in knowledge and grace.

Ezekiel 24:11 Then set the empty pot on the coals till it becomes hot and its copper glows, so that its impurities may be melted, and its deposit burned away.

Refinement is a Dutch Paint Pour. Cells in acrylic pouring tend to form when there is a difference in density between the paint colors. There are different methods of achieving cells in an acrylic pour, but the number of cells that appear and the size of the cells are largely determined by the difference in the densities of the colors. I also went in and drew with the end of a paint brush to make the playful fun swirls.
