This oil painting on canvas is the second picture in the Sertoma Park collection series. The first picture is the painting titled "Shelley Lake". As I sat painting for days at Shelley Lake in Raleigh, North Carolina, I enjoyed not only the wonderful view but the company of many visitors as they passed by to see me and my art work. When my son was small, we would swing on the swings and ride bikes around the paths taking in the full beauty. This park is such a special place, I decided to do a series of Shelley Lake in Sertoma Park as I marvel at creation and come in contact with my neighborhood community.
